“ Great brunch place! The Lama Special is great two eggs, two pancakes with butter and maple syrup, bacon and some fruit price 15 taxes. It was very tasty, and the pancakes were especially soft. The food was ready very quickly! Even though the kitchen is open, the place does not smell thickly of food. ”
“ First time visiting Lama Beans for breakfast and I can confidently say this is one of the best breakfast spots in all of Berkeley. Food is of amazing quality, the service is amazing. You walk in grab a menu then order at the front, table service starts after 5pm. Atmosphere is great located next to Gilman so right off the Freeway. If youre interested in expanding and exploring new breakfast spots Lama beans should be next on your list. ”

“ A Berkeley staple for many years now. The name changed from Jimmy beans to Lama beans but the great food and service has remained the same. This is an excellent choice for a quick lunch at the restaurant or to go but in my opinion the weekend brunch is the star. A great variety of dishes ensures that there is something on the menu that everybody will like. Highly recommended! ”

Breakfast is served until 3 PM every day...a total win for me. The staff is super friendly, and the service is incredibly fastIve been seated and served in 10 minutes! The portions are generous without being over the topfinally, a place that knows how much food a human stomach can actually handle. My absolute favorite on the menu is the Salmon Eggs Benedict...its always perfectly cooked! ”
